Lithium Battery Safety Instructions
Batteries should NEVER be left unattended while charging. Only adults
should charge the batteries.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging the product and do not
charge longer than recommended. Unplug the charger when the battery is
charged.
The unit may require 5 - 6 minutes of constant cranking if the LCD clock
display and LED light do not work, and the battery is completely drained.
You may need to press the reset button, and turn the hand crank a few
times if battery has been charged, but the radio and/or LED light still
doesn’t work.
NOTE:
The battery compartment features an adjustable terminal, so it can
accommodate 3.7V DC rechargeable batteries of different lengths.
A 3.7V DC / 2200mA (CR 18650) battery is included, but you can replace
this battery with a higher or lower mA capacity CR18650 battery
(not included) if needed.
To insure proper operation and charging, only replace the battery with
a compatible CR 18650 type 3.7V DC lithium-ion battery.
