HDD MANAGEMENT

Initializing HDDs

If a hard disk drive (HDD) has
not been initialized, the following
message will appear when the NVR
starts.

Click Yes to immediately initialize.

The HDD can also be initialized
through the HDD Information
interface: Menu > HDD > General.

1. Select the HDD.

2. Click Init.

3. Click OK.

Once initialized, this menu will appear
with the status Normal.

Before you continue

All data on an HDD will be deleted
once it has been initialized.
