3. Plug in the HotPoint power adapter and wait for red “fault” LED to turn on and then off.
4. The LED will blink 3 more times. Wait three minutes before proceeding to Step 5.
IMPORTANT: AFTER PLUGGING IN THE POWER ADAPTER, YOU MUST WAIT THREE
MINUTES FOR THE UNIT TO RESET ITSELF BEFORE UNPLUGGING IT. If you unplug the
power before the unit resets itself, the firmware can be corrupted requiring the unit to be
restored at the factory.
5. After waiting three minutes, unplug the HotPoint power adapter and disconnect the crossover
cable. The default settings are now restored.
