For Windows XP
1. Click on the Start button.
2. Click on the Control Panel icon.
3. Double-click on the Network Connections
icon.
4. Double-click on the Local Area Connection
icon for the network adapter used to con-
nect to the Firetide mesh network.
5. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click
on the Properties button.
6. Select “Use the following IP address” and
enter the following information:
• IP address: 192.168.224.200
• Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
7. Click OK to fi nish.
8. Restart your computer and proceed to
“Getting Started with HotPoint Manager.”
For Windows 2000
1. Click on the Start button.
2. Click on Settings and select Control Panel.
3. Double-click on the Network and Dial-up
Connections icon.
4. Double-click on the Local Area Connection
icon for the network adapter that is con-
nected to the Firetide mesh network.
5. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click
on the Properties button.
6. Select “Use the following IP address” and
enter the following information:
• IP address: 192.168.224.200
• Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
7. Click OK to fi nish.
8. Restart your computer and proceed to
“Getting Started with HotPoint Manager.”
