FIREPLACE INSTALLATION

STEP 6: INSULSTICK APPLICATION

At this time you should parge the firebox and throat pieces with Insulstick, provided in your installation kit. Mix the Insulstick

according to instructions on the bucket and apply to the interior of the firebox, including firebox sides, back wall, and throat

pieces (square throat back, radius throat front, and throat sides), using a trowel (Figure 9). Cover each component completely at a

thickness approximately 1/16”-1/8”. Failure to apply Insulstick invalidates your FireRock warranty.
