The machine is fitted with parking and service brakes (fig

the service brake is controlled by a pedal on the left of the platform
the parking brake is controlled by a lever in front of the brake pedal

installing the batteries
install the batteries in their housing (fig.

) making sure the containers are not broken
never add electrolyte if the batteries have been used for one or more weeks
clean the surfaces that come into contact with the connections
batteries can easily be moved by using the handles at the sides
