Normal recording
● button: green LED (flashing)/ ▼ button: blue LED (flashing). Video is recorded and stored in the
“normal”
folder on the memory card.
Shock recording
When shock is detected (running into a car, hard braking, speed bumps, etc), video is recorded and stored automatically in the
“event”
folder on the
memory card. You can set the shock sensitivity. In total, 40 seconds of video footage is recorded from 10 seconds before to 30 seconds after impact.
An alarm will sound through the speaker when there is impact. The
▼
button LED will change from blue to yellow, and will flash for 30 seconds.
Manual recording
If you press the
▼
button in Normal Recording mode even when there is no impact to your vehicle, 3 minutes of video footage will be recorded
from the moment you press the button, and will automatically be stored in the
“camcorder”
folder on the memory card. An alarm will sound
through the speaker. The ▼ button LED will flash red for 3 minutes. If you press the ▼ button once again in Manual Recording mode, the black
box will stop manual recording. [The video recorded until the moment you stop recording will be stored in the
“camcorder”
folder.]
