Plug unit in to properly granted outlet and switch unit on
●
Rotate the selector to set the type of cooking (cooking heating elements).
●
Wait about 10-15 minutes to adequately heat up the cooking chamber and start cooking.
●
It is advisable, in between cooking, to select the "hourglass" symbol; this maintains the heat inside the cooking chamber,
obtaining an energy saving advantage.
●
Do not attempt toasting of buttered or coated products, eg Garlic Bread or Cheese Sandwich, as this may lead to
deposits/residue left inside toaster that may ignite

Plug cabinet into an electrical outlet of the correct voltage, size and plug configuration
z
Push switch I/0, the bolt will start: the speed is middle
z
Push heater-switch, the heating elements will work. You can select: top heater, bottom heater, or both heaters
z
You can push the Speed-selector, the speed control to the lightest/fastest position while the unit heat up. There are 9
speeds for you choice.
z
After warm-up period, set the speed control to medium position and toast slices of bread production. Adjust the speed
control to the desired amount of browning
Cleaning
To avoid any injury, turn the power switch off. Unplug the unit from the power source and allow to cool before performing any
maintenance.

EXTERIOR
: To preserve the bright finish of the unit, it is recommended that the exterior surfaces be wiped daily with a
damp cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed with a good stainless steel cleaner or a non-abrasive cleaner. Hard to reach
areas should be cleaned with a small brush and mild soap. Use only non-abrasive cleaners. Abrasive cleaners could
scratch the finish of your ECT toaster marring its appearance and making it susceptible to soil accumulation.

Toast Crumb Tray & Toast Collector Pan
:
Remove from unit and wash with soap and water, then rinse.

Toast Feed Ramp:
Press in the two wire spokes and remove guide from unit. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth or soak
the guide in a mild solution of 227 mililters of ammonia and 3.785 liters of water (1 cup and 1 gallon). Re-install guide by
aligning wire spokes with holes in toaster.

LUBRICATION
: The conveyor gear motor and conveyor system are permanently lubricated and require no lubrication.
