THE “FILTER CHECK” FEATURE I
DENTIFIES WHICH DUST FILTER (Pre-Filter or HEPA) NEEDS
REPLACEMENT.
1.
If the
“
CHECK FILTER
”
warning comes on, go to the
User Interface
and press the
“Menu/Enter”
button. Press the
“left or right arrow”
keys to scroll through the menu
functions until you find the
“
FILTER CHECK
”
feature.
2.
Press the “Menu/Enter” button to initiate the
“
FILTER CHECK
”
process.
3.
Filtrabox will assess the status of
all the Dust Filters
in your systems and then prompt you to
remove
the
Pre-Filter
.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
4.
Filtrabox will then advise you to replace
either the HEPA or the Pre-Filter
depending on
their actual conditions. Or, the system will advise you to consider upgrading to a more
powerful model if the Airflow% setting is too high, which would cause the filters to be
inefficiently used (causing frequent filter changes).
REPLACING THE CYLINDRICAL PRE-FILTER
! Important Note: The Pre-Filter
“Retaining B
ar
”
must be in locked position
while Filtrabox is in operation. Failure to do so will allow the Pre-Filter to slip off
the spigot and prematurely block your HEPA filter.
1.
Open the
Access Door
on the
Main Chassis
,
by turning the two
Black Knobs
on the door.
2.
Unlock the Pre-Filter
Retaining Bar
by pushing it away from you.
3.
Slide the
Pre-Filter
towards the
Retaining Bar
and off of the
Spigot.
4.
Roll the spent
Pre-Filter
out of the
Chassis.
5.
Roll a new
Pre-Filter
into the
Chassis
with the blue side of the filter facing the
Spigot.
6.
Slide the
Pre-Filter
towards the
Spigot
until it is fully engaged onto the
Spigot.
7.
Lock the
Pre-Filter
in place by pulling the
Retaining Bar
towards you until it is at a right angle to
the bottom surface of the filter.
8.
Close the
Access Door
and turn the two
Black Knobs
to seal the door.
