6.4 SWITCHING THE MOWER ON/OFF/CHARGING
6.4.1 Turning on:
Press and hold the safety button (Fig. 6, point 1) then pull the switching
lever to the handle. (Fig. 6, point 2) Release the safety button.
6.4.2 Turning off:
Release the switch lever (Fig. 6, point 2).
ATTENTION : The blade will rotate for several seconds after the lawn
mower is turned off.
ATTENTION : Do not turn the lawnmower off and on in quick succession.
6.4.3 Charging the battery
Remove the battery from the mower body and connect it to the charger adapter (Fig. 7). Then plug the charger
into a wall outlet. The red LED on the charger lights up while charging. When the battery is charged, the LED turns
green.
1. Allow the battery to charge for at least 2 hours before using it for the fi rst time.
2. Charge the battery every two months for optimum performance, even when not in use.
3. Charge the battery in a dry place.
4. It is not necessary to fully discharge the battery before recharging. This battery has no memory effect.
5. Two or three initial charge/discharge cycles may be required to achieve maximum runtime/capacity.
6. Do not store the battery in an environment below 10° C.
