3.1. The Keyboard
Key Function
Key 1 Key for production of single espresso ( + )
Key 2 Key for production of double espresso ( - )
Key 3 Key for production of single espresso (ENTER )
Key 4 Key for production of double espresso
Key 5 Continuous/ Programming mode (MENU)
Key 6 Key for production of portion of hot water
3.2. The Display
The LED display of the Compass machines has two lines with 16 characters.
Where
xxx = Temperature in the water/ steam boiler;
zzz = Temperature in the coffee boiler;
hh = hours (0-23);
mm = minutes;
yyyyyyyy = brand or adverstising message.
3.3. PID Displays
The smaller displays control the temperature of the groups and the coffee water boiler.


Probe 2 – temperature of group 2 (rightmost);
