FORMAT DISK
All new drives need to be formatted before recording can be initiated.
A.
Press the menu button– this will place you in the settings Menu (#13, Figure 4, page 14).
B.
Use the scroll wheel (#19, Fig. 4) to highlight “FORMAT DISK”.
C.
Press the selection button (#14, Fig. 4) to initiate command.
D.
A pop-up menu will appear – use the scroll wheel (#19, Fig. 4) to highlight “FORMAT”.
E.
Press the selection button (#14, Fig. 4) to initiate command.
F.
A second pop-up menu will appear – use the scroll wheel to highlight “FORMAT” (#19, Fig. 4).
G.
Press the selection button (#14, Fig. 4) to select command.
H.
A Formatting Disk menu with progression bar will be displayed as in picture above.
Warning! Formatting the disk erases all recorded programming and content
