8 Operation
Warning
Moving loads can injure persons and damage installations in the traversing
range (crushing, eye injuries).

Ensure the following in the movement area around the HGDS−...:
Nobody can reach into the operating direction of the moving components
(e.g. use a protective grid).
There are no foreign objects present (e.g. Allen key).
The position of the external end stops cannot be changed.
The load must be at a complete standstill before the HGDS−... can be touched.

Check the cushioning elements for the following signs of wear:
Cushioning element Shock absorber Rubber buffer
Test cycle Every 2 million cycles Every 5 million cycles
Signs of wear Oil leakage, hard impact; im
pact cap remains in retracted
end position / moves slowly

The HGDS−... must not be allowed to come
into contact with
coolant with corrosive effect,
sanding dust,
incandescent sparks or chips
as they will damage it.

Observe the permissible values for
mass moment of inertia
swivel time as a function of mass moment of inertia.
