1 Introduction
Control technology is becoming more and more important in all areas, because its use can help reduce the
consumption of energy and resources. In an effort to make production efficient, individual steps must be
planned and sequences must be understood and double-checked.
Getting started with process and control technology is made easy and safe with EduKit PA project kits. The
kits are modular and can be expanded flexibly and are thus ideally suited for exciting and practical technical
training – comparisons can be made with industrial project work, fill-level regulation, flow rate regulation
and pressure regulation.
The EduKit PA training concept supports experimental learning, as well as structured procedures thanks to
comprehensive, optional courseware with project exercises and lots of additional documentation on USB
stick. EduKit PA thus offers a cost-effective way of getting started with professional training and vocational
education in the field of process and control technology.
The
EduKit PA Basic covers the fundamentals of project work and regulation technology – manual
measurement, control and regulation – without a PC and without complicated control technology.
The
EduKit PA Advanced supplements the EduKit PA Basic system with the topics of automated
measurement, control and regulation, sensor technology and electrical interfaces. The components included
with the EduKit PA Basic are required in order to set up the experiments.
2 Workbooks
EduKit PA workbook
This workbook enables users to get started with process technology and explains the necessary
fundamentals. Manual and automated measurement, control and regulation, as well as issues related to
machine manufacturing such as planning, installation, commissioning, marketing and sales are addressed.
Exercises with all the required worksheets and instructions, as well as solutions for the trainers, provide you
with practical support. The workbook describes the tasks and their parameters in a detailed fashion. The
worksheets provide information on all the necessary steps, from planning and execution to functions
testing.
The measurement, control and regulation exercises deal with flow rate, fill-level and pressure technologies.
The workbook includes a USB stick with worksheets, data sheets and solutions.
