8 USING THE VACUUM
Precautions for use and safety
The vacuum is not suitable for collecting:
dusts which are toxic and/or flammable (hazardous);
hot or corrosive residues;
water or liquids from containers, sinks, tubs, etc.
The vacuum is not suitable for use in areas "at greater risk of explosion".
Before starting to use the vacuum, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as:
Gloves
Safety shoes

8.1 Suction of dust
1. Check that the collection bag and the dust filter is properly mounted on the vacuum.
The use of the dust filter and the bag is absolutely necessary.
2. Insert the suction hose into the connection point on the drum.
3. Then attach the accessories to the suction hose that are best suited to solve your
cleaning problems.
4. Insert the vacuum plug into the mains socket and then press the on/off switch to -.
5. Hold the suction tube with one hand and direct the accessory attached on the end of
the tube above the waste to be vacuumed.
Risk of injury
Always hold the suction tube with one hand firmly and securely.
Adopt a balanced positioned and avoid standing on unstable surfaces while using the
vacuum.
Do not point the tube at people or animals.
Do not inhale the air from the discharge nozzle on the cover.
