8.2 "Mechanical" Safety Devices

8.2.1 Protective casing

This has the function of preventing the wood chips vacuumed from being thrown towards the
operator's face, and channelling them into the collection bag.

Checking the safety devices

Each time you use the chip vacuum check that the machine has been assembled and

operates perfectly, as well as the positioning of the safety devices.

In the event of damage and/or breakage, do not use the machine.

Use of PPE

In any event during cleaning and maintenance operations, ALWAYS use appropriate personal

protective equipment (PPE) such as:

Dust masks protecting the face and eyes

Gloves
