7 OPERATION
The chip vacuum is a very easy machine to use. After connecting the power plug and the chip
suction tube(s), the machine is ready for use.
First turn on the chip vacuum, by pressing the green button (Figure 19) and then the
woodworking machine. After use turn off the machine and then the vacuum. To switch on the
woodworking machine, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Machine operation
The chip vacuum should be used coupled with one or two woodworking machines (or similar)
to collect the sawdust and chips produced by the latter during processing.
7.1 Emptying the chip collection bag
To empty the bag (or bags, in the event the chip vacuum is connected to two woodworking
machines), stop the woodworking machine (or machines) by following the relevant operating
instructions and then the vacuum by pressing the red button (Figure 20) and wait for all the
machines to come to a complete stop.
Unhook the strap securing the bag which is full of chips and then remove the bag and empty
it.
For assembly proceed in reverse, first putting the bag in position, then attaching the strap
tightening thoroughly.
