Obstacle-free path

Before pulling the load check that the path to be taken by the load is free of clutter and
obstacles.

Locked drum

Before pulling the load it is necessary to position the locking knob of the drum in the

"locked" position.

Do not ever attempt to unlock the drum during Winch operation.

8.5 Operating the Winch:

During operation, the operator must operate the controls by holding the portable push-button
panel.

The push-button panel has a dual-colour (red

and black) to better distinguish the functions
of the controls. It is worth noting how a

control is on one side of the portable push-

button panel, while the other control is
positioned on the opposite side.
Depending on whether you want the load to
be pull or a controlled release of the load it is

necessary to press the pull button (A) or the

release button (B), present on the portable
push-button panel (

Figure 21

).

selector (C) used to set the rotation speed of

the winch (
