The lawn mower is delivered unassembled. The complete push bar must be assembled before using
the lawn mower. Follow the operating instructions step ‑by ‑step and use the pictures provided as
a visual guide to easily assemble the machine.
1. Put the cable hook on upper handle.
2. Connect upper and lower handles with supplied screws and knobs.
3. Insert the handles into the body of the mower and secure with the supplied screws.
4. Fit each wheels over the axles, secure in place with the “R” pins and press the wheel covers into
place.
5. Fix the cable holders.
6. Grass collection box assembly: Attach the fabric of the collection basket (box) to its metal con‑
struction. Lift the basket cover and hang the collection basket on the mower body.
Setting the cutting height
The mower has a central cutting height adjustment. Select the desired cutting height by moving the
central adjustment lever.
Cutting height positions:
25 mm (lowest cutting height position) to 75 mm (highest cutting height
position)
OPERATION
Connect to power supply
Before you connect the equipment to the mains supply make sure that the data on the rating
plate are identical to the mains data.
• Connect the plug to an extension cable. It is imperative to secure the extension cable with the
cable grip.
Starting
Press and hold safety button (

), then squeeze the switch lever (

) towards the handle. Release the
safety button.
Stopping
Release the switch lever.
Note on the safety button
To prevent the machine switching on accidentally, the lawn mower is equipped with a safety lock ‑off
which must be pressed before the switch lever can be activated. The lawn mower switches itself off
when the switch is released.
Information on correct mowing
We recommend that you mow in overlapping lines. Only mow with sharp, perfect blades so that the
blades of grass do not fray, making the lawn turn yellow.
The cutting height should be between 4 and 6 cm and the growth before the next cut should be
between 4 and 5 cm. If the lawn grows longer than this on occasion, do not make the mistake of
cutting to normal length straight away since this will damage the lawn.
Never cut the grass by more than half its height. Keep the underside of the mower casing clean and
remove all grass deposits from it. Deposits make it more difficult to start the mower and also adver‑
sely affect the mowing quality and the grass discharge. On slopes mow across the slope (not in up or
down direction).You can counteract the tendency of the mower to slide down the slope by setting it
