Bei Kollision sendet die Elektronik
das Signal zum Aufblasen der
Airbags, wobei diese die jeweiligen
Abdeckungen aufbrechen und als
Puffer zwischen Fahrer/Beifahrer
und der Instrumententafel den
eventuellen Aufprall auffangen. Das
Aufblasen der Airbags erfolgt inner-
halb weniger Tausendstelsekunden.
Danach entweicht das Füllgas aus
den Airbags, sodaß die Insassen
ungehindert das Fahrzeug verlas-
sen können.
Es wird dem Fahrer
und dem Beifahrer
empfohlen, während
der Fahrt den Umgang
mit Gegenständen (Flaschen,
Dosen, Pfeife, usw...) zu unter-
lassen, da im Falle eines Plat-
zens des Airbags Verletzungs-
gefahr besteht.
Der Airbag ist kein Ersatz für
Sicherheitsgurte und entbindet
Fahrer/Beifahrer nicht von der
Pflicht, bei der Fahrt die Sicher-
heitsgurte anzulegen.
Das Airbag ist kein Ersatz für
die Sicherheitsgurte und befreit
Fahrer und Beifahrer keinesfalls
von der Verpflichtung zu einem
korrekten und konstanten Ein-
satz der Sicherheitsgurte.

déclenchement de l’airbag.
Le déclenchement du disposi-
tif d’airbag dégage des gaz sous
forme de fumée ainsi que le gaz
de gonflage du sac. Ces gaz ne
sont pas nocifs.
L’airbag ne remplace pas les
ceintures de sécurité. Donc, le
conducteur et le passager ne
sont pas dispensés de l’utilisa-
tion constante et correcte des
ceintures.
In the event of a crash, the elec-
tronic control unit (ECU) sends a
signal to inflate the airbags. Due to
combustion, the airbags break their
covers along the breakage seam
and expand thereby absorbing any
eventual impact to the driver and/or
passenger. Airbags take only a few
tenths of milliseconds to inflate.
The airbags then deflate again
immediately to enable the occu-
pants to leave the car without hin-
drance.
Both driver and pas-
sengers shouldn’t
travel using objects
(such as drink cans or
bottles, pipes, etc...) that could
cause injuries in case of airbag
intervention.
Airbags are inflated by gases
and fumes produced by rapid
combustion. These fumes are
NOT harmful.
The presence of an airbag does
not relieve the car occupants
from the duty to wear a seat
belt at all times.
In caso di urto la centralina elettro-
nica di controllo, manda un segna-
le per lo scoppio dei bags che, per
combustione, iniziano a gonfiarsi,
rompendo la copertura lungo la li-
nea di rottura fino a gonfiarsi total-
mente nel giro di poche decine di
millisecondi, consentendo al pilo-
ta e/o al passeggero di ammortiz-
zare un eventuale impatto.
Al termine della combustione la
sacca si affloscia.
Si raccomanda al pi-
lota ed al passeggero
di non viaggiare uti-
lizzando oggetti (lat-
tine o bottiglie di bevande, pipe,
ecc.) che potrebbero provoca-
re delle lesioni in caso di inter-
vento dell’Airbag.
Quando l’impianto entra in fun-
zione, vengono rilasciati gas
sotto forma di fumo unitamente
al gas che viene utilizzato per il
gonfiaggio della sacca. Questi
gas non sono pericolosi.
L’Airbag non sostituisce la cin-
tura di sicurezza e pertanto non
dispensa il pilota e il passeg-
gero dall’uso costante e cor-
retto delle cinture.
