Operational Features
4.5 Removable Head Pad
(Compact 1-S with Height Adjustable Backrest only)
The head pad can be attached to the chair when the upper handle is in the second or third position. The pad is designed to optimise patient
comfort.
The head pad can be attached, using Velcro flaps, to the upper handle. Position pad with Velcro facing the rear of the chair then fold flaps
back onto themselves around the metal frame.
The upper handle can be locked into one of three positions to allow for height variations of operator and patient.
The removable head pad can only be attached when the upper handle is in its second or third position.
To adjust the upper handle into the second or third position, pull the black release knob on the right hand side with right hand. Maintain
grip while adjusting upper handle upwards with left hand. Release knob while still adjusting handle upwards until knob engages into
required position.
To return the upper handle to the first position, remove head pad if affixed. Pull black release knob with right hand, maintaining grip, while
lowering upper handle with left hand. Release knob and adjust handle until knob engages in its first position.

The Oxy-Clip
The Oxy Clip (Cylinder Holder) clips onto the front bar under the
seat of the Chair.
Blankets
Blankets may be used with the Chair to enhance patient comfort,
ensure they are kept clear of any moving parts.
Wall Bracket
The wall bracket is designed to hold the Compact 1,2 or 3 Carry
Chair. This allows the chair to be stored safely ready for use.
Dust Cover
The dust cover is designed to be used with the Compact 1,2 and
3 Carry Chairs whilst situated on the wall bracket.
