INTRODUCTION
The
KIT VISION DIGITAL
is an advanced Video Door Entry system for simplified
installation, specially designed to replace your old Audio Door Entry KIT by a new
Video system without changing the installation, in most cases. It is basically
made up of an
Outdoor Panel
, which will substitute the old audio panel, and a
Monitor
installed in the place of the telephone. The
Power Supply
must be
substituted as well. In installations with small section of wires or long distances
between camera and monitor, an additional power supply may be needed.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTES:
The
Power Supply
should be installed on a hard
and flat surface, as inside the buiding as in the lobby,
etc... but always in inner places. It can be installed in
a DIN box for electric switches.
To install the
Monitor
, choose a hard and flat
surface, far away from direct heat sources (radiators,
heaters, ...) or very smoky environments (kitchens,
etc.). We advise to install the
Monitor
in a place where
the call could be heard all inside the house.
The
Outdoor Panel
is protected against humidity
and atmosferical agents. In adverse conditions with
permanently hard rain or salty environment, it is
recommended to install the
Panel
with a hood or under
shelter. Strong light coming straight into the camera
(against the light) will produce contrast and/or
brightness losses.
Generally,
KIT VISION
DIGITAL can be installed for
replacement of standard audio-door entry systems (5
wires), without changing the installation. However, in
installations with less than 0.25 mm

section of wires
or distances longer than 25 m, an additional power
supply may be needed (see page 24 for details).
