VERY IMPORTANT:
Calls to the Guard Unit are made by pressing the open door button when the telephone is inactive.
In facilities with a Guard Unit, it is not possible to program the telephones from the outdoor panel when
the Unit is in day mode.
The whole programming process can be done with the telephone on the hook. If done with the phone off
the hook, programming will be interrupted if the phone is hung up before programming is finalised.
The time between steps 1 and 2 must be less than 4 minutes. If this period is exceeded, start the sequence
again.

A new ADS telephone has been designed that has the basic features only. The functions of this telephone
cannot be enhanced. ADS KIT Telephone Ref. 2406.
Calls to the Guard Unit have been included as a basic function with no additional button. Calls are made by
pressing the open door button when the telephone is not active.
Programming is done in a similar way as previously explained, but in this case instead of a programming
jumper, there is a "programming button" (located inside the telephone), as shown below.

1. Press and hold on the the hook
switch and the programming
button until your hear two
confirmation tones.
2. Enter the line number to be assigned to the
telephone. Confirmation tone is heard again (audio
will be interrupted if the hook switch is not pressed
at this point). Check the audio connection holding
off the hook switch.
