Use protective gloves, when you do work with fuel equipment.
NOTE:
Take the old filter elements to a proper disposal point.
NOTE:
Engine Warranty is valid only when original AGCO Parts filter elements are used.
Procedure
1.
Clean the fuel filters and surrounding area.
2.
Disconnect the pre-filter water detector
connector.
3.
Put on protective gloves.
4.
Use the fuel filter wrench to open the pre-
filter element.
There is a hole for a ½ in square drive in the
handle of the fuel filter wrench. You can use
a lever.
5.
Remove the pre-filter element from its
mounting bracket.
6.
Collect the fuel into a suitable container.
7.
Detach the water detector from the pre-filter bottom end.
8.
Remove the main filter in a similar way.
9.
Attach the water detector to the new pre-filter bottom end.
10.
Lubricate the filter element o-ring seal with clean fuel.

Fill the outer shell of the filter element with
clean fuel.
12.
Use the fuel filter wrench and turn the filter
element to its mounting bracket until the
plastic flange contacts the bracket.
13.
Connect the water detector connector.
14.
Install the main filter in a similar way.
15.
Bleed the fuel system.

16.
Start the engine and make sure that there
are no leaks.
