explosive. Repair such components in a well
ventilated area away from open flames or sparks.
Inspect all lines and hoses for wear or for
deterioration and replace if necessary.
Route hoses correctly. Lines and hoses must have
sufficient support and secure clamps. Tighten all
connections to recommended torque.
1.1.30 Fire extinguisher
An optional (1) mounting bracket can be installed
on the right front frame rail. The bracket is
designed to hold a 4.5 kg (10 lb) fire extinguisher.
Make sure that all clamps, guards, and heat
shields are installed correctly to prevent vibration,
rubbing and too much heat during the machine
operation.
Do not weld the bracket onto the cab ROPS frame
to install the fire extinguisher. Do not drill holes in
the cab ROPS frame to mount the fire
extinguisher.

Make sure that a fire extinguisher is available and
be familiar with the operation. Inspect and service
the fire extinguisher regularly. Obey the
recommendations on the instruction plate.

1.1.31 Public road transportation
Always walk around and visually examine the machine before moving on a public road. As a warning to
others in the area, honk the horn two times before starting engine. Do a check for damage and/or
defective components that can make a dangerous condition. Make sure all machine systems operate
correctly including (but not limited to):
• front road lamps
• tail and brake lamps
• amber hazard lights
• parking brake
• horn
• windshield wiper and washer
• rear view mirrors
• etc.
Repair or replace a component not in correct operating order.
