Combine CE markings, type and number plates

The combine and key components are identified by serial numbers and/or production codes.
Placement of the various identification data is illustrated below.

Always provide the dealer with the identification data of the machine when ordering parts or service.
Combine CE markings and type plates
The CE marking (1) is located next to the approval
plate and attests that the combine is manufactured
in accordance with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
as well as Directive 2004/108/EC.
This plate displays the following:
–
Year of production
–
Model year
–
Product
–
Combine serial number
–
Commercial name or type
–
Total weight (normal equipment)
–
Rated engine output
–
Maximum towing weight in Nm
–
Maximum vertical weight on the trailer hitch in
Nm
In certain countries (e.g. Russia), these two plates
are located next to another decal/plate, which corre-
sponds to the type approval for the country in ques-
tion.
The manufacturer type plate (2), which is mandatory
in all countries (or (3) only mandatory in France), is
located on the outer right-hand side of the operator
platform and contains the following information:

Combine serial number

Type
–
Combine harvester version no.
–
Maximum permitted total weight
–
Total Weight (on both axles, individually and to-
gether)
–
Homologation data (if applicable)
