Unverferth 2070 

— Set Up

1-6

 

 

•  Use  care  not  to  damage  scale  spindle  and  wiring  harness.    Damage  to  scale  spindle  or  wiring 

harness  will  give  incorrect  scale  information.

1. 

Once the cart has been removed from the container, position cart on a level surface 
area, block the wheel and disconnect the towing vehicle. 

2.  Use a safe lifting device rated at a 

minimum of 300 lbs. (136 kg.), re-
move all three center support brackets 
(273149B) from the right-hand side of 
the cart and place it a safe working 
distance away from the cart. (FIG. 1-1)

NOTE: Yellow brackets are for shipping use 
only and will be removed  at various points 
throughout the assembly process.

3.  Remove and discard the two yellow 

shipping brackets and hardware. (FIG. 
1-1)

4. 

Locate the panel lifting device provided 
inside the hopper. (FIG. 1-2)

NOTE:  Use the panel lifting device (FIG. 
1-2) included with the grain carts to help 
maneuver your side panels and sideboards. 
FIG. 1-3 shows how to use the panel lift-
ing device.
