Introduction
This tutorial explains how to exchange a hot-end nozzle properly. A replacement can be needed, when the
tip is completely clogged or when it is required to use a different nozzle size, also see the Cold pull method
this can safe most clogged nozzles.

Tools
The tools you need to replace the tip of the FELIX Pro nozzle:

Allen key 1.5
•
(open-end) Wrench 12
•
(closed-end) Wrench 7

Take the hot-end out of the machine
Warning
: When filament is still loaded into the FELIX Pro , the hot-end
cannot be removed
The first step is to take the hot-end out of the Pro. Before this is possible, the filament that is in the machine
should be removed. When the filament is removed, let the hot-end fully cool down.
Turn off the FELIX Pro
Disconnect the cable that connects the hot-end to the mainboard. Carefully pull the connector away from
the socket.

Pull off edge connector of corresponding print head, do NOT pull the wires, there is also a small hook on
the fan duct to which the cable is fixed take it off this hook first.

Open the cover in front.

Rotate slightly to right
