Measurement Evaluation
Users have three methods to view and assess measurements.
1.
Directly on the instrument interface
2.
Offline on your PC using the SD Card or data server
3.
Online with FruitMaps.com
Accessing Measurements on a PC: Using the SD Card
1.
Turn off the
device.
2.
Remove the SD
Card from the
device.
3.
Insert the SD Card
into your PC.
4.
When measurements are
taken with the instrument, a
comma separated variable .txt
file is created in the root
folder of the SD card that logs
information for each scan.
5.
Measurements can be viewed
and edited by right clicking the
.txt
file and choosing
Open
With > Microsoft Excel
.
6.
When opening the .txt file
type, Microsoft Excel will
automatically guide the user
through a series of prompts.
Simply click
Next >
through
the wizard and then
Finish
.
This will ensure data is
delimited into columns within
Microsoft Excel.
