Removing the gearbox housing

1. Lift the intermediate gearbox (1) off the gearbox housing using two screwdrivers.
2. Remove the seal (2).



Replace the seal after each removal.

3.  Clean the gearbox housing (3) of grease.
4.  Pull off the grooved ball bearing (4).
5.  Tap out the gearbox shafts (5).

Tools:

-  2x slotted screwdrivers
-   Chuck cone 22 mm
-   Drawing-off socket cap
-   Plastic hammer
