Automatic Mode via Socket - Position 2
n
When the cleaner is being used in conjunction
with an electric appliance, the latter is plugged
into the socket of the cleaner, and the switch is
set to position 2. The cleaner is then
automatically switched on and off with the
electrical appliance.
n
IMPORTANT: Before switch the cleaner to
position 2, ensure that the electric tool is
switched OFF.
Note: The integral electronics have a starting
delay of 0.5 s for the suction turbine. Electric tools
with a power consumption of 50 – 2100 W can be
connected.
Connecting electric tools.

Before inserting the electric tool in the auxiliary
socket, ensure that the electric tool is switched
OFF.
n
Insert the suction hose until it locks into
position.
n
Remove the collar (H).
n

Connection of non-FEIN electric tools:
Use connector for 32 mm diam. suction hose
in accordance with documentation supplied
by the particular manufacturer.
These jobs must be carried out
regularly
Emptying the dirt box
n
With solids: no later than when the box is full.
n
With liquids: no later than when the cleaner
cuts out.
Note: After the cleaner has cut out, please set the
rotary switch to “0”, otherwise the motor will start up
again when the cleaner is opened.
n
Unplug cleaner from the mains electricity.
n
Undo both catches (turn clockwise), and lift
motor housing off dirt box.
n
Empty dirt box, rinse out if required, and dry
the inside.
n
Place the motor housing on the dirt box, and
secure in place (turn catches anti-clockwise as
far as they will go).

Switch OFF the cleaner.
n
Unplug cleaner from the mains electricity.
n
Undo both catches (turn clockwise), and lift
motor housing off dirt box.
