9. Features of the ID ISC.LRM200-A/B Reader Module
9.1. Features
The reader ID ISC.LR200-A/B has been developed for the reading of passive transponders of the
"Smart Label“-type which operate with a frequency of 13,56 MHz. It is suitable for all applications
which require wide reader ranges. Dependent on the reader type, a basic antenna (ID ISC.LR200-
A) or a basic antenna and a complementary antenna (ID ISC.LR200-B) can be connected to the
reader.
An anti-collision function allows reading of several transponders at a time.
The electronics of the reader are cased in solid, powder-coated sheet steel, which allows even
outdoor installation (protective system IP54). it provides possibilities to connect a basic and a com-
plementary antenna, two digital inputs, two digital outputs, a relay output and an asynchronous
interface which can be configured optionally as RS232 or RS485.
By means of the configurability of the interfaces, the reader can also be operated in data-bus mode
with an RS485-interface. The address of the reader can be set via software or via 3 DIP-switches.
