Use with older controllers
If the motion detector is installed on a gate which is operated with a door controller with software version
V03-03.18 or lower, the parameters specified in this chapter must be used to set the motion detector.
9.1 Changing parameters
The adjustment of the motion detector takes place via the connected door controller. The commissioning of
the door controller and the configuration of the parameters can be found in the assembly instructions of the
door controller being used!
The adjustable parameters of the door controller are explained below.
9.1.1 Activate support for the motion detectors in the door controller
To use a motion detector with connected door controller, support for motion controllers must in principle be
activated in the door controller. This is turned off at the factory. Turn the parameter P.B00 "interface motion
detector" to 1 for this purpose.

9.1.2 Set position, read out serial number, activate convenience profiles
Each connected motion detector must be assigned to a position in the door controller
(see Figure 7, MWD BPC 1-4). This is done via the parameter P.B0A, P.B0B, P.B0C or P.B0D and using the
serial number of the motion detector. When selecting the parameter, the last four digits of the serial number
of the motion detector are displayed and both LEDs of the selected motion detector flash.
If no motion detector is assigend to a special position, the respective parameters must be set to "0". All
assigned motion detectors in the door controller are automatically activated (P.B01, P.B02, P.B03 or
P.B04 set to "1").
