OPERATION
APPLY THE HANDBRAKE
1. Fully press the starter/brake pedal .
2. Pull the handbrake lever (Figure 10).
3. Take off your foot the starter/brake pedal and release the handbrake
lever . Ensure that the handbrake retains the unit.
4. To release the handbrake , fully press the starter/brake pedal . The
handbrake releases automatically.
CAUTION: Before leaving the unit, push the gearshift to
the neutral position (N). Apply the handbrake. Set the
blade rotation control to the CLUTCH LEVER position.
Stop the engine and remove the ignition key.

ADJUSTMENT OF THE CUTTING LEVEL
In order to adjust the cutting level, lift or lower the traction lever as
follows:
1. Push the traction lever to lower the mower frame and pull the lever
to lift the frame (Figure 11).
2. If you are driving on a sidewalk or road, set the traction lever to the
highest position and the blade rotation control to CLUTCH LEVER
mode.

STOPPING THE UNIT
1. Fully press the clutch/brake pedal to stop the unit. Keep your foot on
the pedal.
2. Set the blade rotation control to the CLUTCH LEVER position.
3. Push the gearshift to the NEUTRAL position.
4. Apply the handbrake.
CAUTION: Make sure that the handbrake retains the unit.
5. Set the accelerator control to the SLOW position.
6. To stop the engine, turn the ignition key to the OFF position. Remove
the key.

TRANSPORT OF THE UNIT
Secure the unit during transport to avoid fuel loss, damage and injuries.
To transport the unit, follow the steps below:
3. Put the accelerator control on an intermediate position between
SLOW and FAST.
