Disconnect the modular connector at
the control head. Press and hold the Reset/Save
switch. Replace the modular connector at the control
head. The Reset/Save LED should be flashing.

Release the Reset/Save switch. A
single beep should be heard, switch 9 and 10 LED’s
should be illuminated, and the Reset/Save LED
should still be flashing, to indicate that the system is
in the configuration mode.

See figure 2-1. Press switch 9 to
activate the Level 1 Configuration mode (keyboard
configuration selection).

See figure 2-2. Press the switch that
corresponds to the desired Keyboard Configuration
Number (refer to Section I for keyboard configuration
descriptions).
6.
Press the Reset/Save switch to exit the
Level 1 Configuration mode.
7.
Press the Reset/Save switch again to
exit the configuration mode. A longer beep will sound
and the Reset/Save LED will change from flashing to
steady illumination indicating the system is ready for
use.
8.
If desired, the configuration mode may
be disabled by performing the procedure in para-
graph 2-6.A.

Level 2 Configuration.
1.
Power-up the system and wait for the
self-test to complete. The Reset/Save LED changes
from flashing to steady illumination and a beep
sounds indicating the system is ready for use.
2.
Disconnect the modular connector at
the control head. Press and hold the Reset/Save
switch. Replace the modular connector at the control
head. The Reset/Save LED should be flashing.
3.
Release the Reset/Save switch. A
single beep should be heard, switch 9 and 10 LED’s
should be illuminated, and the Reset/Save LED
should still be flashing, to indicate that the system is
in the configuration mode.
4.
Press switch 10 to enter Level 2
Configuration mode (see figure 2-1). A beep is heard
and the Reset/Save LED will be flashing.
5.
Press the switch to be reconfigured.
6.
See figure 2-4. Press a switch (2
through 8) to clear the current pattern number.
When switch 2 through 8 LED’s are extinguished, a
pattern is NOT selected. A steady LED at switch 2
through 8 represents the pattern number’s tens digit
(see figure 2-6). A flashing LED at switch 2 through 8
represents the pattern number’s ones digit.
7.
See figure 2-4. Press switch 10 (Signal-
Master Pattern Select) until the required SignalMas-
ter Pattern is emulated on the row of LED’s below
the V-shaped display on the control head.

See figure 2-4. Press switch 11 (relay
select) until the required auxiliary relay output(s)
combination is(are) indicated on the control head
display.
9.
See figure 2-4. Press switch 12 (switch
operation select) until the required switch operation
(push-on/push-off, momentary, or timed) is indicated
on the control head display.
10. Press the Reset/Save switch when the
correct pattern number, SignalMaster pattern,
auxiliary relay output(s), and switch operation are
displayed for this switch.
11. Press the next switch to reconfigure (if
any) and repeat steps 6 through 10, or press Reset/
Save to exit Level 2 Configuration.
12. Press the Reset/Save switch again to
exit the configuration mode. A longer beep will sound
and the Reset/Save LED will change from flashing to
steady illumination indicating the system is ready for
use.
13. If desired, the configuration mode may
be disabled by performing the procedure in para-
graph 2-6.A.
