1. Configuring the Network Interface

Informer15 Speaker (Models I-IP15 and I-IP15X) Modbus Enabled

Federal Signal www.fedsig.com

2.

Click Choose File to open a dialog box to select the new image.bin file to upload.

File type

Filename

Firmware image file

image.bin

Firmware backup or recovery image backup.bin
ROM image

rom.bin, spi_rom.bin, or romzip.bin

3.

Click the Upload button to upload the new image.bin file.

NOTE

: To prevent operating system corruption, power must not interrupted during

the upload process.

4.

Reboot the device for the changes to take effect.

Rebooting Device and Loading Configuration Settings

Use the Reboot page to reboot the device and load new configuration settings.
To reboot the device and load new configuration settings:

1.

Select Reboot.

The Reboot page appears.

2.

Click the Reboot button to reboot the device and load new configuration settings.

The login prompt appears within 20 seconds after the reboot.
