Configuring Informers Using the Web Interface

Informer-IP Series C 

Federal Signal www.fedsig.com

Fields

Description

Priority

The Priority assigned to the digital input. For Momentary mode, an 

input of equal or higher priority will interrupt an active Continuous 

mode input and will stop and over-ride currently active Momentary 

mode input. When multiple Continuous mode inputs area active with 

different priorities, the lower priority inputs will be skipped until the 

higher priority inputs become inactive. The highest priority is 1.

Digital Voice

List of digital voice messages (WAV files) to play when the input 

becomes active. This field must be a comma-delimited list of 1-19 

digital voices indices (for example 1,2,3,4).

Apply

Saves your settings. You must reboot for changes to take effect.

2.  Enter the RTU Number. 
3.  Enter a description of the RTU.
4.  Click the arrow to select Power Attenuation.
5.  Click the arrow to select Ambient Attenuation.
6.  Click Enable SmartMsg to enable the SmartMsg interface.
7.  Click Enable Modbus to enable the Modbus® interface.
8.  Click Enable SIP to enable SIP.
9.  Select the options for the Inputs.
10.  Click Apply.
11.  Reboot the device for the IP address change to take effect.
