9.7 Trouble shooting ECONOMIZER
Fault
Possible cause
Remedy
LED (a) flashes
Switching on: The LED (a) flashes for
approx 1 - 2 seconds after the vibration
has been switched on.
Vibration frequency too low.
LED (a) lights up
No vibration detected.
Start the engine, set the throttle lever to
position “MAX” (switch vibration on).
Check the connection of the acceleration
sensor.
Acceleration sensor is not connected.
Check the connection of the acceleration
sensor.
Cable breakage.
Inform our service department.
The displayed
measuring values
are not plausible.
The acceleration sensor is not fastened
correctly.
Shut down the engine and check the fas-
tening screws of the acceleration sensor.
Weak spots in the road subbase.
In unfavourable cases, an excessively
varying material composition or moisture
in the road subbase can influence the
measuring results.
On material which is too dry or moist,
lower measuring values will be displayed.
