4.10 Backup protection

Danger of accident!
As a measure to avoid injury during backwards
travel, the machine must only be guided from
the side by the steering handle.

When actuating the reversing protection (Fig.
36), the travel lever (tip switch) switches over
from backwards to forward travel.

Operate the travel lever (tip switch) (Fig. 37),
until the vibratory plate vibrates on the spot.

Caution
Do not shut the engine down all of the sudden
from full speed, but let it idle for a while for
temperature equalization.

38) and let the engine run with idle speed for a
short while.
