Troubleshooting
TV will not power on.
Check to make sure the TV is plugged into a working electrical
outlet. The TV’s power supply has an indicator LED on it
which will glow when the power supply is plugged into a work-
ing electrical outlet. The indicator LED on the TV will also glow
when it is receiving power.
Make sure your TV is using the power supply that came with
it. Using an improper power supply may damage your TV and
void your warranty.
Image randomly drops out
or develops artefacts on
digital channels.
Check the signal strength by either pressing the Display
button or entering the menu and selecting the Channel sub
menu. If the signal strength is below the Normal range, you
may need to adjust your antenna, or have your cable
system inspected. Strong RF interference may also cause
artefacts on digital channels, even if the signal strength is in
the Normal or Good range.
Colors are incorrect or
missing in Component
video mode.
Check to make sure your Component video source is
connected properly.
Try another Component video cable.
The TV did not detect all my
channels during the auto
scan.
If you have your TV connected to a cable system, you may
need to adjust the Cable System settings in the Auto Scan
sub menu.
If you have your TV connected to an antenna, the missing
channel(s) may be too weak to be detected by the TV
during the auto scan. Try adjusting or reorienting your
antenna.
Before contacting us with an issue, please refer to the troubleshooting section below.
The TV displays “No Signal”
or “Unsupported signal” in
VGA mode.
Make sure you have the TV set to VGA mode.
Check your VGA cable to make sure it is securely connected
to your computer and TV.
If you are connecting a laptop to your TV, you may need to
set the laptop to output to an external display.
Make sure your desktop resolution and refresh rate is set to
one of the settings listed on page 11.
Try another VGA cable.
