Attention!
To prevent gas leakage after the disposable container has been perforated, the
handle may only be unscrewed when the gas has completely escaped.
The device is now assembled.
USE
To light a flame, proceed as follows.
1. Turn the dial slowly towards "ON" to start the gas flow,
then
press the "PUSH" button Figure 3
2. Press the button until the flame appears.
Fig.3
By turning the control valve between "ON" and "OFF" "(counter clockwise or clockwise), set
the power of the device to achieve full saturated flame.
- If the device is cold or used with a new disposable container, the flame produced may be
irregular or gas may escape in the liquid phase.
This is normal and does not mean a defect. The flame will stabilize after 2-3 minutes or
when the device warms up. During this time, the device should be held vertically.
END OF WORK
1. Completely shut off the gas supply by turning the gas control knob clockwise in the
direction of "OFF".
2. Store in a cool, well-ventilated place after unplugging the container and put a cover on the
container's valve
REPLACING A GAS CONTAINER
To replace the gas container, proceed as follows.
- Before unscrewing a used disposable container, make sure that the flame has been
extinguished, the flow control valve is closed, the device has completely cooled down and
the container is empty. Shake the device to determine if the gas is still in the container.
- Change the gas container in the open air and away from other people.
- Unscrew the counter-clockwise handle of the disposable container from the device
carefully.
- Before joining a new gas container, check the gasket.
- Attach the disposable container to the device as described earlier.
GAS CONTAINER (cartridges)
1. Check that the burners have gone out before disconnecting the gas tank.
2. Check the gaskets before connecting a new container to the device.
3. This device may only be used with a gas cartridge conforming to EN417.
4. Check the gas container for damage or rust.
5. Do not store gas containers in areas where the temperature may rise above 40 degrees,
e.g. inside the trunk of a vehicle parked in the hot sun, near stoves, burners, deep fryers or
in direct sunlight.
6. Remove the multi-purpose torch from the gas cartridge when it is not in use and store it in
a cool, dry place.
