5. Pull both locking units out
6. Check condition of holes on both sides. Clean if glue
residue or dirt is visible. Red arc points functionally
important areas.
Adjusting tightness: turn hex key:
- clockwise to tighten the locking unit
- counter clockwise to loosen it
adjust that side only is from which clamp yields.
If both sides are weak, tighten equally from both sides.
Tighten 1 - 2 turns and test. If clamp is not moving
smoothly anymore, loosen locking unit slightly.
Note:
7. Check that guide rods are clean. If glue residue or
other dirt is visible, use alcohol based solvent for
cleaning.
Apply drop of motor oil on a clean dry cloth and rub
thin layer of oil on both guides.

8. Check condition of the guide rods. Pay attention to
most used areas of the rod: center and the end closest to
table.
Check for deformations such as visible edges,
on the rod. If found any,

If replacement is not possible, loosen rod’s fastening
screws and rotate the rod by 90 degrees. This exposes
less worn rod area.
