5.6 Board Installation Guidelines
Please follow the installation rules for boards provided by FAST. (Refer to “5.4 Incorporable Boards” and “5.5
Connector Configurations for Each Slot

) Please refer to the manual for each board about detailed information. For
updated information, please check our website （http://www.fast-corp.co.jp/）or ask our sales staff.
The following chart describes a FV3000 main unit installed vertically.

Note that there are some restrictions on the combinations of boards depending on system's specifications.
※ Up to 2 identical boards can be inserted into the device.
※ More than 1 RICE-001 board cannot be inserted into the device. (Except RICE-001a)
※ When connecting 2 RICE-001a boards, an EXT.CONTROL connector cannot be supplied.
※ The FVC06 board requires 2 slots.
※ Refer to the manual for each board about their specifications.
In addition to that mentioned above, there are the following restrictions when using the FAST Vision
Library for Windows.
※ Only identical boards can be inserted into the device.
※ When using RICE-001a boards, only 1 of these boards can be inserted for the device to function.
For the FVC01, FVC02 and FVC05, sup12V each per board to the camera, carry a maximum power
supply restriction of 5A (60W).
