The following symbols are used in the instructions for use, on the appliance and its packaging.

waste collection centres or at electronics shops. Battery disposal is a legal obligation.

Before using the appliance, carefully read the instructions for use, especially the safety warnings, and
adhere to them. This manual must be considered as being part of the product and must be retained
throughout its service life. Should the appliance be handed to another owner, the entire documenta-
tion should also be provided. In the event of mislaying the manual or need for more information or
clarifications, contact Farmamed at the address provided on the last page.
• Before using the product ensure the appliance is intact without any visible damage. In case of doubt
do not use the appliance and contact your dealer.
• This appliance is solely intended for the use it has been designed for and in the manner indicated in
the operating instructions. Any other use shall be considered misuse hence hazardous. The manufactu-
rer shall not be liable for any damage arising from misuse or incorrect use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• In the event of fault or malfunction, switch off the appliance without tampering with it. Always contact
your dealer for any repairs.
• Do NOT autonomously disassemble, repair or replace components of this device. Contact your dealer.
• Do NOT replace the lamps. Contact your dealer.
• During operation ensure that people and animals are not near the lamp after it has been turned on.
Prolonged exposure to UV light may cause skin burns or irreversible eye damage.
• Avoid staring directly at the light emitted by the lamp. Avoid unprotected exposure of the eyes and
skin. Only used in closed premises that provide users with protection from the radiation. Excessive ab-
sorption of ultraviolet light may cause skin irritation and damage to the conjunctiva. If injury has occur-
red, immediately seek medical attention.
