Assembly - 1370, 1385, 1395, 13114 Backsaver Auger

Figure 88

Position the two main braces (Item 1). Install one
7/16” x 1-1/4” bolt (Item 2) through the two braces.
Install one 7/16” lock nut onto the bolt

Do not tighten at this time.

Align and install the two braces onto the main
trusses using four 7/16” x 1-1/4” bolts (Item 3) and
four 7/16” lock nuts

Tighten center cross brace bolt (Item 2) and lock
nut first. Next, tighten the bottom cross brace
bolts (Item 3) and lock nuts

Tighten upper cross brace bolts (Item 3) and lock
nuts

NOTE:

1395 Model is pictured. The procedure is
the same for all auger models.

Install one 1/2” cable clamp (Item 1) around the
long 1/2” cable and to the upper truss (on the
center tube or 10 ft. extension tube) (both sides)

Install one 1/2” cable clamp around the long 1/2”
cable and to the lower truss (on the bottom tube)
(both sides).

Install one 1” x 7/16” x 10 ga. flat washer and nut
onto each clamp u-bolt. Do not tighten the 1/2”
cable clamps at this time.

NOTE:

Remove clamp section of two 1/2” cable
clamps. Use only the u-bolts and nuts.

Install one 1/2” cable clamp (Item 1) around both
the long and short 1/2” cables and install into the
main truss (on the center tube) (both sides)

When installing the u-bolt around the two 1/2”
cables, place the short 1/2” cable (Item 2) into the
u-bolt first (both sides)

Install one 1” x 7/16” x 10 ga. flat washer and nut
onto each u-bolt. Do not tighten the 1/2” cable
clamps at this time.
