Grain High Light (auto resets after cooling):
LH grain column hi-limit switch has reached 210°F
RH grain column hi-limit switch has reached 210°F
A. Grain has over dried due to:
unload auger off
meter roll speed set too low
moisture control temperature set too high
grain column plugged
B. Failed grain hi-limit switch
Burner Lockout (Manual reset)
Flame was not sensed for 5-15 sec.
A.
Burner failed to ignite
main shutoff valve was not opened in 5-15 sec. time allowed
minimum fire set too low
hand valves closed
insufficient fuel supply
failed or dirty spark plug
failed or dirty flame rod
failed liquid LP solenoid valve
vapor hi-limit sensor reached 220°F and has not cooled down

B.
Burner flame has gone out

plenum pressure switch set has sensed low pressure

vapor hi-limit sensor reached 220°F and has closed liquid solenoid
NOTE: A flame failure will cause the Burner Lockout Indicator to light. If the unload auger is ener-
gized, the dryer unload will stop and the dryer will shut down after a three-minute time period due to a
meter roll monitor time-out. The Meter Roll Monitor indicator light will also come on with the lockout
light but should be ignored in this situation. If the Unload Auger switch is OFF, the dryer control cir-
cuit will not be shut down due to a burner lockout. The Flame Safeguard control must be manually
reset before re-ignition is allowed.

Discharge Shutoff Switch
Unload auger discharge switch has opened (may require cleaning grain from under DSS door to
reset)
A. Auxiliary unload equipment has failed or overloaded
B. Discharge door is not seated properly
C. Discharge proximity switch failed
Top Auger Will Not Start
1.
Check that top auger circuit breaker is turned ON, also that control circuit is energized and
LOAD AUGER SWITCH is set to ON or AUTO position.
2.
Check position of upper auger paddle and its switch box - paddle must be "down" with switch
box horizontal to start auger. Paddle should rotate freely without "sticking."
3.
Inspect for secure mounting and wiring of mercury switches in terminal box on top auger paddle
switch shaft. Include check for defective mercury switch. When calling for grain, both mercury switch-
es should be closed and passing 120V to top auger contactor coil.
