3. SETTINGS
The parameters that follow can be modified by the user during
normal use of the video intercom.
3.1 Audio level during conversation
During a conversion with the external station, long press key
, after 3 seconds icon
quickly flashes, pressing key
repeatedly you select in sequence 9 different volume levels.
Having identified the desired level, long press key
to
save it, a three-tone signal will indicate saving took place.
The levels set will also remain valid for next conversations.
3.2 Ringtones
The user can change the melody, the number of rings and
the volume of the ringtone; the choices made remain valid
for next calls.
3.2.1 Selection of melody and number of rings
The available melodies are:
- Din-don
- Classic
- High trill
- Low trill
During the control switch on function, long press key
after three seconds icon
quickly flashes and you will
hear the melody currently set, press key repeatedly
to listen in sequence to the melodies available. Having
identified the desired melody, long press key
to save
it, after 3 seconds the video intercom saves the selected
melody and automatically passes to selection of the
number of rings by emitting a number of beeps equal to
the number of rings currently set; press key multiple
times to cyclically vary the number of rings (1, 2....8, 1,
2...). Having identified the desired number of rings, long
press key to save it, after 3 seconds a three-tone signal
will indicate saving took place.
3.2.2 Adjustment of ringtone volume
While the video intercom is ringing, long press key , after
3 seconds icon
will quickly flash, press key
multiple
times to vary in sequence the volume of the ringtone
among the 5 different levels. Selecting the desired level,
long press key to save it, after 3 seconds a three-tone
signal will indicate saving took place.
3.2.3 Ringtone disabling (do not disturb)
To disable the ringtone of your video intercom, you must,
with the system in standby, keep key
pressed, the
ringtone switches ON and after 3 seconds icon
flashes,
release key (the ringtone is disabled).
To again enable the ringtone, you must, still with the
system in standby, keep key pressed, the video intercom
switches on and icon
flashes, after 3 seconds icon
stops flashing and the video intercom emits a three-tone
sound, release key (the ringtone is enabled again).
Having enabled or disabled the ringtone, the video intercom
remains ON, to switch it OFF press key twice.
4. OPERATION
4.1 Call from external station
Following a call from an external station, the video intercom
rings and on the screen for approx. 30 seconds, the image
of the caller appears: if the ringtone was disabled (see
paragraph
3.2.3 Ringtone disabling
), the video intercom
will not ring, the symbol
flashes to remind you that the
ringtone was disabled, but the screen will show the image
of the caller anyway.
By pressing key , it is possible to converse with the outside
for about 90 seconds. To turn OFF in advance the video
intercom, press key .
The video intercom also switches OFF when timing is up,
if from the external station another user is called or if a
monitoring function is executed.
The electrical lock of the entrance door is activated by pressing
key ; the control operates also without receiving any call. In
this case is released the electrical lock of the last input that
made a call or on which a monitoring function was executed.
During a video intercom conversation, by long pressing
key , there is the possibility to adjust the audio level (see
paragraph
3.1 Volume
).
4.2 Monitoring function
With the video intercom and the system free, pressing
key
allows you to execute the monitoring function by
displaying the image coming from a specific external station
or from the last external station which made the call (to use
monitoring function, the system must be appropriately wired,
i.e. terminal 4 of the monitor must be connected to terminal
4 of the power supply unit). Having executed a monitoring
function, pressing key , you can communicate with the
external station displayed.
If the system is appropriately prepared, a second monitoring
function can be executed using the
button (see next
paragraph).
4.3
Button

In the default configuration, the
button closes the contact
between the
CII
terminal and the
PII
terminal, therefore it
can be used to carry out additional functions (for example
opening of second gate or driveway, stairs lights, etc..).
If required, button
can also be used for a second
monitoring function. In this case, however, it is necessary
to appropriately wiring the system and move the
J1
jumper
on the video intercom from position
1-2
to position
2-3
(see
Adjustments
paragraph).
