and press “ON/OFF” to tare it. Then you can
weigh the item once the display has returned
to “0”;
7. After finishing with the scale, press “ON/
OFF” for 3 seconds to switch the scale off.
Otherwise the auto shut-off will switch it off
after 120 seconds.
HOW TO CALIBRATE
1. Place the scale on a hard, stable surface. In
off mode, press the “UNIT” and “ON/OFF”
buttons simultaneously for three seconds. A
stochastic code will appear on the display.
Release the “UNIT” and “ON/OFF” buttons,
then press “ON/OFF” again to display
“ZERO”.
2. Once “5kg” appears on the display, place a
5kg weight in the centre of the plate, wait
until you see “CAL” appear and several
seconds later “PASS” will appear on the
display before turning to measuring mode.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• The scale is composed of sensitive electronic
parts; keep it away from any source of heat and
any environment with excessive moisture.
• For precise measurements, place the scale on a
flat, solid and non-slip surface.
• Remove the batteries if not using the scale for
extended periods, and store it in a clean, dry
place.
• Handle the scale with care. Do not let it fall.
• You can clean it with a damp cloth, and then
dry it with a dry, soft cloth.
• The scale must not be washed or submerged in
water.
• Do not place objects on the plate if you are not
weighing them.
• Do not disassemble the scale, this risks
damaging it.
