DVB-S2 - Satellite Tuning
Tuning the TV can either be accessed as part of the First Time Installation or from the CHANNEL
menu Auto tuning option acessed by pressing the MENU button on the remote control.
For DVB-S2 tuning, Select
Satellite
from the Connection type using the
◄
/
►
navigation buttons on
the remote control.
Load the Preset Channel Database
Satellite channels have been preset to make the tuning process more convenient and to ensure the
correct channel settings are retrieved.
Satellite
Adjusting the Satellite is not required. Leave as the default and the TV will retrieve the relevant
settings.
Channel Type
Use the

/
▼
navigation buttons to select channel type between
All (default), Free, Scramble
.
Service Type
Use the
▲
/
▼
navigation buttons to select service type between All (default), Radio, DTV .
Scan Mode
Use the
▲
/
▼
navigation buttons to select service type between AUTO, Preset, Blind .
IMPORTANT: To ensure channels are retrieved correctly from the database use PRESET.
Unicable
Use the

/
▼
navigation buttons to select service type between On / Off (Default) .
Search
Use the
▲
/
▼
navigation buttons to select search and
press
OK
on the remote control to start the search.
Once the scan has completed the TV will enter viewing
mode.
TIP:
To quickly retune the TV, the
AQT
(Auto Quick Tune)
button on the remote control can be pressed which
will navigate straight to the Auto Tuning menu. This is
convenient when moving to a different area to ensure
that the TV is tuned correctly and picking up the strongest
possible signal.
