
When ordering spares, please quote the model
number, serial number and voltage, as stated on
the data plate.
3.1 CONTROL PANEL - To Remove
Remove fat drawer, located below control panel.
Remove two fixings in upper flange of facia panel.
Allow panel to drop down slightly to release lower
fixings. Remove panel.
Replace in reverse order.
3.2 THERMOSTAT - To Replace
Remove control panel as detailed in Sectuon 3.1.
In controls compartment top, there are a number of
fixings that secure plate in position, 2 on E350/34 and
4 on E350/35. Remove these and raise plate from
front. Prop it up with a suitable piece of wood.
Take care not to strain thermostat capillary tube.
Undotwofixings that secure thermo
stat phial
clamping plate and release phial.
Pull off connections to thermostat, noting locations
according to wire numbers. Pull off thermostat knob
and remove fixings below to release thermostat from
panel.
Feed capillary tube and phial forward through rear of
control compartment and remove assembly.
Replace in reverse order, taking care to fit insulating
sleeving over capillary before fitting thermostat.
Ensure that earth bonding connection is replaced
behind thermostat fixing lug. After fitting thermostat,
test unit using a low setting and check that amber
light goes out as thermostat opens.
Pull off connections to thermostat, noting locations.
3.3 PILOT LAMPS - To Replace
a) Remove control panel as detailed in Section 3.1.
b) Pull off lamp connections.
c) Remove nut securing lamp at rear and remove
lamp.
3.4. HEATING ELEMENTS - To Replace
a) Remove control panel as detailed in Section 3.1.
b) Prop up hotplate as described in Section 3.2.
c) Remove element connections.
d) Remove nuts securing element lagging boxes.
e) Remove clamping plates securing element.
When fitting a new element, ensure that it is properly
fixed to underside of hotplate, located by various
projections cast into plate.
Ensure that element earth connections are exactly as
they were before replacing element.
